Some people never change.

Migraine is gone, but I am not in a much better mood.
An old acquaintance from high school emailed me on Monday and said she will be in town on Wednesday (today). I had someone cover for me at work because it has been 14 years since we have seen each other. We were good friends in high school, but we grew apart over the years. I thought it would be nice to get reaquainted. We exchanged phone numbers and made plans for lunch. I texted her today around 11am to see what her ETA was and she said, "What are you talking about? I won't be there for another two weeks." EXCUSE ME?!?! Not once did she mention that she won't be here for two weeks. Why do we expect people can change? She was selfish and self-centered then and she still is now. Perhaps I was hoping she had changed because through Spark I have changed so much. Guess that isn't always the case, though.
