Moving forward

I am doing it! I really am! I am losing the weight! It is coming off! I am working out and doing my darnedest to make healthy choices at every meal. I have goals to meet and one goal is to be in One-derland by the time summer ends! My family is getting healthier too! I make sure that even my children are have fruit and or veggies at every meal! I am having a beautiful freshly extracted veggie/fruit juice every morning for breakfast and am feeling great! Tons of energy! I am going to do this thing! I am working on visualizing myself at the weight I want to be at the end of summer! I will do it!

I am trying to get more and more of our meals plant-based and trying to eat less meat as it seems to be bothering the whole family to eat to much of it right now. Plus it is super expensive to buy quality meat around here. Thank God for farmers markets! It has made getting fresh produce into our days much easier! Both my kiddos simply inhaled the golden raspberries I bought on Saturday and my hubby and I are both loving the snow-white nectarines!

I am working very hard to learn how to make a proper salad. I am also working on ways to make vegetable dishes taste great without adding overly processed ingredients. There is a great local place that makes it's own balsamic vinegars and infused olive oils! Tasty stuff! One thing that I think is so funny is how easy it has actually been to get my children to eat the fruit and veg. I almost have to hide my breakfast juices from them or they will drink them all. They both even love juices made with Beets! Kale! Spinach! Celery! Cucumber! They love them all! Feeling like a very blessed mama!

I am doing this for myself as well as my children! I want to be able to play with them till they think playing with mom is boring.

We just got a mini-trampoline and everybody loves it! I bought it initially for my husband since his knees and ankles and back are messed up and he can't handle even many low-impact exercises. But with the rebounder he can jump to his hearts content and it doesn't bother any part of his body! Plus it's fun! It is going to be wonderful to have it when summer ends and the rain returns to Washington! She will have a productive way to burn that extra energy!!

I will keep moving forward and take things one meal, and one workout at a time!
