Good news!!

Tuesday, July 22, 2014

I took my son to the doctor yesterday for his follow up visit after his surgery. The doctor took the cast off of his right foot!! He didn't have as extensive work done on the right one, so that's why he was able to take it off. He is now a little more mobile. He will get crutches to get around too once he starts physical therapy. He's so excited that he is able to move around a little better. The other cast comes off in a few more weeks. We cannot wait for that.

Today has been a very productive cleaning day. It's quite hot and humid here and we have an air quality alert. What a great day to get the stuff done on the inside. I've cleaned the bathrooms, vacuumed, dusted, changed sheets and did a few loads of laundry, I swear that's a never ending chore, and dinner is in the crock pot. I even ordered one of my school books since I go back to school in a little more than a month. Time to start getting back into that frame of mind too.

I will get my work out in later tonight. I haven't worked out in a few days so I'm ready to get back to it. No worries though, I've been pretty good about my nutrition.

I hope you are having a great day. Thanks for reading :)

What great news about your son! I'll bet you are all anxious for the crutches to come in to play. No more stuck inside! Now we just need the heat and humidity to let up a bit...
Sounds like you have a relaxed and healthy attitude about the workouts and nutrition, way to go! Things all work out, eventually I guess emoticon
