My gals at my fitness class this am. reminded me how important & exciting it can be to celebrate those small achievements! We have been working on our "tree pose" for many classes to strengthen our balance. Today for the 1st time 2 gals who never could previously maintain their pose via balance mastered their stance & were quite excited by it.

Their pleasure in reaching this goal just proved to me that whatever we set our mind to in a challenging goal should be celebrated no matter how small or trivial the success of it may seem.

So today, I reached my little goal I set last week, make the scale GO had been over 2 months since I saw any such movement so I say this is a GREAT NEW BEGINNING! Incidentally, it decreased by 1.4 lbs. from 139.0 to 137.6. I got serious with my food intake as well as my step increase. Last week was over 80,000 for the week. (both little steps)

My point is that with LITTLE STEPS come BIG long as they remain consistent!

Going out to celebrate with a hot sunny walk, my kinda day!!!

Did you celebrate YOU today in any way???

Sandi, that is so exciting! I too can see the HUGE, beautiful smile on your face!

The baby steps are what keep us going much of the time, and you are so right about us needing to celebrate each and every milestone, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem to somebody else.

Congrats. You are on your way to meeting your goal by your Birthday. My fitbit appears to be working now, so I will be monitoring steps closely for the next month.

    I so agree

little steps add up the big ones ... but the little ones count when you reach your goal or challenge you have set for yourself
