Setting small goals

Monday, July 21, 2014

I set small goals. I am going to try for three miles a week(eliptical or walking), and less calories. Coumadin clinic recommends to work out but not set hard routine with PE still in my lung. I want to try to look at my accomplishments each day and give thanks to God that I am moving forward.

Today I went half mile on eleptical which took about 17 minutes. I didnt eat as much either. Life is filled with little victories. I feel little dizzy tonight but it happens with my blood pressure, blood clot, carcinoid in my lung.

I am going to join cancer survior group unless my doctor says I cant. I have yet to attend one due to commuting and not feeling so well. I think my biggest victory is not giving up. My God doesnt give up on me even when I am weak in many ways. I wont give up on me either!

Good for you! Moving and thinking forward is a great way for you to go. Seems you're feeling well enough to set goals. Goals that are big or small are a great.
