Day 10. BLC wrapup/reflection

This round of BLC, I stepped outside my comfort zone and into a new team. I had been with the foxes (previously cougars) for many many rounds, and I was a little apprehensive about switching teams, but I had gotten too comfortable. It was time to make a change and I did. I landed with the Hot Mocha Maniacs, who have been the most amazing group, welcoming me with open arms and always pushing me to be better. I hope to be with them again next round!

NSV for the round: I dropped 3 minutes off my running pace! I haven't gone much in the past few weeks due to humidity, but I am still ahead of where I was at the start of the round!

My plan for the BLC break is to:
A. Continue with my daily blogs (and the details outlined below)
B. Do my weekly planned exercise (run 3x, bike 1x, swim 1x, ST 3+ days)
C. Stick to my new flexitarian plan, eating meat only on rare occasions

While I have not lost much this round, I do feel more connected with myself than I have in previous rounds. I am ready to continue forward, and will not take this break as a "break", but rather as a time that I can use to reflect even further on how far I've come.

    Outside of the comfort zone is where it is happening! You know it is not always about the weight loss but where progress has been made to increase our endurance and performance. YOU DID IT!!!!

    Sounds like you had another great round. Glad to hear things are working for you... Good to hear that you are not going to "Take a Break" from your good habits that will support your new life-style. We have to continually work on our good habits if we truly want to attain our goals AND maintain our new life-styles.

    Say, when does the next round start? I am contemplating re-joining BLC not sure what team I would choose if given an option. Time will tell. When I stopped by your SparkPage I noticed the caption under the top picture. Congrats to BF for recognizing the treasure that are sure to be!! Have the two of you set a date yet?
