Keep on going anyway. ;)

Hello! I could use some prayers. I saw my neurosurgeon yesterday. I am going to have a MRI on the 29th to see if there is something that can be fixed with surgery. I have spinal stenosis and it makes it so I cannot stand or walk for very long. My legs and feet get tingles, numbness and a lot of pain. I had a spinal fusion in Dec 2012. It took away most of the back pain but this problem with my legs and feet is getting worse. I have also developed hip bursitis in both hips and moderate arthritis and bone spurs in both knees. The constant pain and the limitations are really getting to me. Also, tomorrow I have a hearing for disability. My lawyer said it helps to have letters from friends and family (up to 5) so the judge can see that others see this. My husband and 2 friends wrote letters for me. They stated facts but it was still hard to read. My husband's letter really made me sad. When he met me, I taught aerobics and we worked out together. Now, I have to borrow a wheelchair to look at a large museum. We thought we would always be active and we would both be working until retirement. Now those dreams are gone and we have a new reality to face. It is a tough situation to face.

Just read your blog after writing one complaining of my knee pain - I feel horrible. You're going through a lot & I wish I could make it all better for you. How did the MRI go? Is there anything better that can be done to help you? I sure hope there is & I hope you are keeping an upbeat attitude. Definitely will pray for you :)
