I have a NEW GAME PLAN & GOAL set!
Well Tues. WI strikes again & not in a GOOD DIRECTION...up went the scale again...only .2 of a lb. but I'm at my highest in the last little while (about 1 1/2 years)
139.0 is that NASTY NUMBER!!!
My new strategy is to use the Canada's food guide in pre-planning my menu for the next week before I enter it on my daily tracker. By using it I can still check my calorie intake as well as nutrients...yes, I plan to stick to it ALL...& even add in the basic portion measuring again. Obviously, my activity level has decreased..at least by intensity & I was surprised to see my fitbit quota of steps dropped last week. Sleep is erratic & stress is beginning to show it's UGLY head with BELLY FAT & so I'm checking out some new yoga poses to add to my regular routines. Next week will be my 1st measuring at home in a LONG while...almost afraid at this point but really need to SEE REALITY.
My mindset is not as rigid as it should be regarding my EVERY DAY ROUTINES. I am wavering at my goal setting...& H20 intake...forget it...another area requiring some focus. Much to do & NOTHING should be stopping me.. except that I'm HUMAN & need to continue my journey climbing over each of these roadblocks I've mentioned.
Cravings & a calorie intake of 2,000+ for a day once or twice a week has become a regular weekly occurrence. I will be watching to reduce this to a boundary of 1850 a day max. So far my adjustments regarding food & activity haven't helped me so I'm changing that up again. I managed 5 out of 7 nights evening snack free. I have been eating 5 times a day. (yeh)
I need to LIMIT my sitting as well as lounge chair use. Wow! Haven't said that in awhile!
My NEW GOAL is to reach 135 lbs. by my birthday. That's 4 lbs. in about 5 weeks. Sounds TOTALLY doable but has been such a large hurdle lately...I WILL make every EFFORT to reach that goal...that's my COMM ITMENT to MYSELF today.
I realize that the scale doesn't control my success but I sure am determined to FEEL less belly fat as I move which determines my long term activity success. The LESS I have the FASTER I move & the BETTER I feel. It's almost yearly physical time...hormone & blood work check time...am anxious to check results to compare to last year.
Has summer added or subtracted to your healthy lifestyle daily routines???
PLEASE SEND ME SOME HINTS TO YOUR SUCCESS SPARKIES!!! I need that EXTRA motivation.
