What a Difference a Spark can make

Tuesday, July 01, 2014

Since logging back on and almost everyday since 6/25/14 things have already drastically changed for myself and my house. I set goals for July even though it was a few days early and just went for most of them from that day forward. My house has come together so much as I've worked every night to make sure I was striving to hit these goals. I wasn't eating horrible but I wasn't anywhere near the clean eating machine I was before I got pregnant and that too is making it's changes back more balanced times. Over the weekend I was able to complete two of my photo sessions editing and get them on social media. As the house and my todo list come together I'm feeling more at peace and able to add things back to my plate.

For working out I've been using the stairs whenever possible. This is work I tell you! This week my boyfriend who does MMA as a hobby aside form his actual career decided to take up an event in October and has jumped back onto the healthy bandwagon we were both on together. Last night the difference in both of us is clear and I know that we can each do it but with each others help and support we can achieve even more.

Things are looking up and I'm feeling some of this weight come off my shoulders that began stacking up months ago. I know that I can do things on my own but the help of this site and the friends on here with the accountability it helps us achieve is so amazing. I haven't eaten horribly throughout my pregnancy but not as well as I do when I'm tracking from 1-5 each day on here through SparkCoach. I achieve goals to get through the day but I don't have the motivation that comes with writing a monthly goal blog and making myself accountable in front of others. My goal board on the start page reminds me everyday of where I am going and who I am doing this for. There are too many things to even list but I truly feel that logging in everyday even if it's just for 10 minutes makes such a world of difference in my life as well as the lives of many sparkers I interact with. Great feeling and I can't wait to keep going:)

You are SO right! And the funny thing is, it is so hard to explain to anyone who is an "outsider". While I occasionally mention Spark to my family, they still have no idea what it is and they kind of look at me funny when I do talk about it. Oh well! It works for me and that is the key!

Btw congrats on all that you have been able to accomplish as of late! There is no better feeling than having some control over your life.

emoticon I almost feel like I've missed a step in my day if I don't log on, so I know what you mean about even 10 mins on spark helping.
