I managed an early am. walk without getting wet...clouds hovering over us...humid temps persist...I'm lovin that!!!

This am. I prepared a yummy raw veggie tray with a lemon dill dip to take to a BBQ this afternoon. looking forward to the socializing & hope the skies stay clear.

My WI this week was the same (138.6) no change, no excuses & no comment...

I introduced a new Canada Day fitness preview to my group yesterday including a Canada Day conga line parade...Numbers & enthusiasm was down however, I managed to see a couple of smiles. This group has a hard time adapting to change.

As well a rescheduled meeting as to my actual summer hiring has been postponed until Thurs. Have I mentioned that I have been filling in for 1 month already???
Anyway, my regular retirement philosophy is to "go with the flow."

Must say I can't wait for my haircut appt. Humidity is making me a mop top!!!

Not much news, my fitbit has shown an increase this week...yeh, for neighbourhood walks!!!

I tried 2 new salad recipes I found in a free Walmart summer magazine. They are pasta & corn & peas & a black bean salad. The dressing content for each actively helped my fat content reach the accepted spark percentage for a couple of days this week. It was the olive oil, etc. The carbs continue to be high...1 more week to analyse before I change my daily intake & re-evaluate my carb choices.

Hope you all enjoy our country's birthday...we are blessed to live where we do...The True North, Strong & Free!!!

Happy Birthday Canada,

See you next week,
