Beginning Ketosis

So here it is Day 1 of trying out the ketogenic diet.... So far so good, but I have only just begun with breakfast... And today's breakfast consisted of Cheesy Scrambled Eggs... 2 eggs, beaten, added 1 TBSP of chives, poured that into a pan with 2 TBSP of melted coconut oil (I was going to use butter, but discovered I had none.... I forsee a trip to the grocery store lol) When that was cooked (and it only took a couple of minutes) I added 1 oz. of New York Extra Sharp Cheddar, let that melt and decided to dash on about 1 tsp of Franks Buffalo Wing Hot Sauce emoticon Here's a pic of what it came out like

Decided to just edit and add rather than have several blogs in one day lol

So lunch was 4 cups of baby spinach, with 1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil drizzled over it and salt and pepper to taste, about 4 oz of 80% ground beef with a slice of white american cheese melted on it, 1 TBSP Hellmans Real Mayonnaise and a half of an avocado.... needless to say I am stuffed lol

Dinner, we had a ton of leftovers to clean up, so I had sirloin steak tips, brussels sprouts and summer squash with real butter. I also had watermelon, but that didn't make it on the plate emoticon

    Yum. You are making me hungry for what you fixed. Love having hot sauce on eggs. It just adds extra taste and the heat will help with losing weight.
