Starting Over Where You Are

Sunday, June 29, 2014

This is what I can do. I have to paint the kitchen, have the apartment cleaned and then I can move back in. I'm going to open every window and run around with a big hunk of sage and clean it out. I'm going to put fresh organic produce in my fridge and all of the fruits I can possibly eat. I'm going to use my blender more and make protein smoothies. I'm going to quit eating cheese and go to every yoga class I can make it too, and I need to make it to a lot of yoga classes if I'm going to find my way.

I'm going to make slow, purposeful, fundamental changes. I've been thinking about a lot of things lately and this is a chance to put a lot of positive energy into motion. A final project of many recent lessons I needed and wanted to learn. Just you wait and see what I clean out of those closets. I have such a need to clean out the old to make room for a new future. I need some big positive changes. I want to peel back every layer of that apartment, all 12 years stored inside and clean it out. Let go of what is truly unnecessary. Lighten the entire place from the ground up. So many anchors. So much dead weight to throw off. I can't wait to get into this project.

I also decided to do #100happydays as well. My friend is doing it, and so I decided to try it as well with another friend. Today is day 3. I post on instagram as TorchwoodRose.

I like that - "Let go of what is truly unnecessary". Your plans sound so uplifting. The idea of having a clean start is AWESOME - and today I needed your reminder that I have that choice, too. It IS time to clean out the old to make room for a new future!
