So for the last two weeks I have been drinking green smoothies in the mornings and the results are in
Starting weight 221
Current weight 219.4
Weight loss -1.6 pounds!!
Pretty good since I really was not tracking my food intake and have not started working out yet. My son also lost a little over a pound so he is also happy.
I was looking for new green smoothie recipes since they have been working for us and came across the site- simplegreensmoothies.com
This site is doing a 30 day green smoothie challegne starting July1 st and they will send smoothie recipes every week and a shopping list. Best of all its FREE
So I am getting ready for this challenge. My son wanted a break from the green smoothies this morning so I made him a strawberry smoothie but with avocado (which he liked).
My little one started solid food this week- baby rice cereal and even tried some avocado
I am making his baby food so next week its carrots
My challenge plan will include
1. One green smoothie a day
2. Tracking food each day
3. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day
4. One DVD workout a week- I know its time to get active if I want this weight to come off
