PiYo Day 1

PiYo officially StArTeD!!!! Day 1 is actually Align: The Fundamentals. It's 40 minutes, but is just basically a walk through of the different moves on all the different videos and how to correctly do them and what she means when she calls something out. I HIGHLY recommend NOT skipping this part. I watched it earlier and then came home tonight and did Define: Lower Body. I didn't have to look up near as much as I had an idea what she was talking about and she was very good about explaining each move and how to correctly do it. I was definitely doing many of them incorrectly and not getting out of them what I should have with other videos. I gotta say, I feel longer being done. Weird to say, but I feel what she means by that. I am NOT flexible at all so I am sure this was not a pretty workout, but I was sweating. I love turning the videos on and seeing that there are NO SHOES!! Not that it was any easier, my legs were shaking like crazy. But it went so fast. This one was only 25 minutes, but you worked and moved that entire 25 minutes. I definitely forced myself to PUSH myself and to not stay comfortable at all. Super pumped for tomorrow already! I'm working on writing out my food for this week and my schedule for my workouts. We leave for a 10 day vacation later next week and I am really excited that I can just continue on with this in the hotel as there are no weights or anything needed. I HATE going to gyms and NEVER do, even if I tell myself I am going to go when staying at hotels. But I never go. I love working out in the comfort of my own home. This workout was so far out of my comfort zone and I am excited about it. I have turned into a weights girls, which is great, but there are so many other areas I really need to work on also to bring it all together. Get ready!! You are going to LOVE it!!!
