Sharing with Sparkpeople, but not Facebook

Wednesday, June 25, 2014

Well my dear, wonderful spark friends I must say that it has been far too long since I have typed a blog on this site. I almost feel as if I have been a traitor. (not seriously though)

I was adamant about not joining that site until I decided to contact relatives I have never met and help organize my family reunion. Go figure. I became addicted to Facebook.

Understand, I became addicted to Sparkpeople first. My first social media love! emoticon

I post photos on that site, add in a few quotes every now and then, and comment as I choose.

Now, I am ready to share my feelings with my sparkfriends. YES! You all are dear to me.

My feelings: frustrated emoticon that I will have to have a surgical procedure in a week.
pleased emoticon that my condition will improve after surgery
prayerful emoticon that God's hands will guide the surgeon(s) since two will be present.
One is my ob/gyn and the other is a colorectal surgeon. emoticon

My divorce is coming closer to an end which I pray will happen smoothly (although my ex is a deranged stalker). Yes. Former colleagues have reported his repeated visits at the same time daily. CREEPY!!!

Which brings me to my other GREAT NEWS...I HAVE A NEW JOB!!! (remember my goals?)
I'll be teaching closer to my new residence and I HOPE my ex won't find out.

*Side note: I have requested a protective order in my divorce paperwork, not so much because of the stalking.

Okay. I welcome any feedback you have.

As always,
LOVE YOU, SPARKERS!!! emoticon

I see you had the same views on FB as I have! I *swore on everything possibly swearable* that I wouldn't do that kind of thing - then........after an awesome HS reunion last month where some cool reconnections were made, I rethought my attitude and's been pretty cool so far (crossed fingers)!

emoticon on the new gig - that's emoticon

I wish you the best on your procedure and divorce woes! Hang in there - and know your fellow Sparkies care!

Good luck with your surgery and I hope you have a speedy recovery.

And good luck with the psycho soon-to-be ex-husband. I have one of those myself and even 6 years later the crazy hasn't ended.

I'm glad to hear from you, but, sad to hear of the behavior from your soon-to-be ex-husband. I've experienced that type of behavior from a former relationship and it ain't no where near fun. Sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery, but, God is on your side.

Stay joyful and keep on keeping on.
