Its been a few months since I've made what used to be my monthly blog of goals. I'm now 20 weeks pregnant so half way through and I'm feeling better than I was in my first trimester yet I haven't gotten my butt back on the wagon quite yet. I'm eating better than I was when I was nauseous all the time so I've been able to maintain a decent weight but not as good as I was prepregnancy and I don't workout much. We do have the option to take the stairs or elevator at work and my new place of employment has a lot more floors than my previous one with me being on floor 5 so I've opted to take the stairs whenever I can both inside and at the parkcade.
I used to also have goals that would attempt to keep me balanced all around especially with stress. Moving, changing jobs, not having as much room as I used to have for my things, a new budget, etc have caused my organization to be a bit out of control. Day to day I function and look together but I have huge weights on my shoulder and I can't seem to keep things organized in the home such as clothes etc. I thought I'd done a good job cleaning out clutter at my previous home until my boyfriend and I combined houses. Now I feel like I hardly got rid of anything and all I can think of is getting rid of more and more and more and where the heck do I put the things I do have??
So many changes and just four to four and a half months before crunch time comes with the baby and you never know, you can always go sooner so it is time to get things in gear big time. I need to do some basics over again and I need to put a big focus on organization.
Goals for July
1.) Basic-Drink 8 cups of water a day
2.) Basic-Log into SparkPeople everyday
3.) Wear my pedometer everyday to gage my activity level
4.) Organization: Use to-do book again
5.) Organization: Organize bill book/create budget
6.) Take pictures each week to record pregnancy and do weekly weigh-ins for accountability
I want to get back up to working out 4-6 times a week but I want to see my activity level and see what works best for my changing body. I'd also like to see myself getting back away from more processed foods and having at least one smoothie a day. I'm really interested in Chalene Johnson's new PiYo program but I need to get my bills and budget in order before I look more into it.
I think this is a good starting place for my goals and checking in daily will help me keep balance in all the areas I need to stay healthy physically and mentally.
