Week 3 - Day 18 - It's a Roller Coaster Ride

Last night after I posted I started getting terrific chest pain - not a heart attack but strange enough that I thought maybe I was having a panic attack - haven't had one of those in years - I went to food - ate popcorn and a mozzarella stick after I said I did not snack after dinner - will change that in my goals tonight - at night they kept coming and my arms went numb - I finally decided that increasing my weights by just 1 pound while doing Jillian Michaels was more than this pathetic body could do - so today no Jillian! Good at work w/food - not so much for breakfast - hubby made a breakfast wrap I could not pass up and since he usually cooks about once a blue moon I did not pass it up. When I got home I was up another pound - got pissed and had an ice cream bar - what am I doing? Then I decided to walk and for the second time my intentions were over-ruled by some hidden part of me that wants to stay committed and I ended up running! Not sure how but suddenly I'm running and not walking and I don't intend it to be like that - I hate to run! Got home and was down 2 pounds! So eating a healthy dinner was easy and I will not snack tonight and I will be in bed way before 10:30 so there are no temptations. Then eldest son called - grand-daughter should be here by Friday- another little blessing - I am soooooo excited! That means a late night or early morning - this is their first and they have been waiting for so long - emoticon

Challenge for Week Beginning June 21

Decrease calorie count of snacks after work by 1/2 - 2x per week but still keep it light
June 21 - no snack, June 23 - no snack

No eating after dinner - 3 x per week - This one still tough - keeping it as is
June 24,

Be in bed by 10:30 - 3x per week - I'm having to rely on sleep aids to sleep - so the plan is to take them by 9:30 so I can sleep when I go to bed - tonight (June 22) will be the pilot

More protein and less carbs - 4 x per week - upped it by 1
June 21, June 22, June 24

Run three times a week -upped it by 1
June 21 (1/2), June 22, June 24

New one - I can't work out at work anymore - but maybe I can get away and walk for 15 minutes a few times this week - it all depends on who shows up as to whether or not I can get out a lunch but the goal is 2 x this week - I think being active during the day is key but my job does not normally allow it.
