What kind of fish...

Sunday, June 22, 2014

I was asked..."What kind of fish do you catch off your dock?"

This is Small Mouth Bass just caught...

This is Pickerel, (Walleye to Americans)

This is how I like to cook them... emoticon

The rule is... you catch your own fish for dinner, here... emoticon

Yum! I love a nice piece of fresh fish every now and then, especially salmon. When it goes on sale I grab it up! Enjoy your catch of the day- it looks good!

That is some GOOD eating right there!! Beautiful fish! Good job!! I like how you fix them too!! I grew up lake fishing. As children, we'd go visit my grandparents in PA during the summer, and we'd go to a local lake for fishing. My Nana only used american cheese and homemade bread as bait. She'd roll it together into little balls and stick it on the hook. She'd throw her line over the boat and then she'd call to the fish, "Here fishy, fishy, fishies!" Don't laugh - she'd catch more fish than anyone else!!

I guess that would be an excellent diet for me, as I do not eat fish...any kind...in fact nothing that comes out of water..........I even threw it up when I was a child, but at least that finally got my parents off of my back. They served me no more fish. When I was pregnant, I did manage to force myself to eat some sole (and liver) but I am not going down that road again.....Give me a good bloody rare steak!! (hihihi)
    I almost forgot....EXCELLENT PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still waiting for the invitation. HA HA!!!!! Would love to join you there, looks like so much fun. And like I said I already have my own fishing pole, I haven't used it for 15 years so probably needs new line, before I catch my own supper.
