Oprah Magazine - "Stress Relief Navy Seal Style" aka Motivation

In the July 2014 issue of Oprah magazine Kathryn Wallace wrote an article "Stress Relief - Navy Seals Style." p. 62-63

I find it's really about MOTIVATION - which I love to have more of on a daily basis.

Here are some of the points the article makes that I love.

*Prep for Battle - do mental rehearsals. This eases stress and gives you confidence. If you have something big coming up, mentally rehearse different ways you think it might play out.

*Talk Yourself Up - which may be #1 on the things I liked about this article to turn negative thoughts around. Find a mantra you love or make one up.

*Embrace the Suck - LOL - most ppl give up when the going gets rough, but this can be a Golden Moment to power through to victory.

*Take a Deep Breath - Meditation can open up your intuition . Use yoga mindfulness and breathing. The article said some Seals became so intuitive they were able to sense roadside bombs. How Jedi amazing is that? I've been using their 4x4z4 breathing for years and feel so much better when I do.

I'd like to have your comments on Navy Seal motivation.

    I do a "deep breath" with my 3 year old daughter when she's having a tantrum. it works... when you are overwhelmed and needing some air. What is 4x4z4 breathing?
