I find that drinking water helps me feel better both mentally and physically. Yet this week, I have not been overly kind to myself. Oh just one ... surely won't kill me. Oh you can't always deny yourself. But what have I really denied myself- energy, sleep, health, etc... So much that I want to return to nurishing my body and my mind well. It may seem silly to some of you who have come so far to think that my drinking 8 glasses of water could make me feel so much better about myself but it is measurable, something I really need. I realize it is about more than water; it is about doing something that helps me focus on attaining my bigger goal of becoming a healthy me. Water cleanses, replenishes and in my case focuses.
