At it Again

I am back! So much has happened. I am a proud mother of a very healthy son. Roshan Elijah was born on January 24th after 17 hours of natural labor!!
He is growing so fast and I am so happy to have him. While on maternity leave I was laid off from my job
. But it is ok because it gave me extra time with my new little man.
I missed all my SP friends and am looking forward to making some new ones. I have about 40 pounds I am trying to lose before my 40th birthday
. Despite all the knowledge and best intentions I managed to gain 50 pounds during this pregnancy!!
My plan for Summer 2014 includes:
1. Drinking one green smoothie for breakfast each morning- this is a great way to get my fruit and veggie servings up. I plan on sharing my recipes and reviews with anyone that is interested.
2. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. I am breast feeding so it is even more important for me to do this every day
3. Be active- some form of exercise daily
