Blood test Joy...kind of!

Thursday, June 12, 2014

Had to go back to have my blood checked again, I waited (even though it said ASAP, because there's only one place (besides the back of my hand) where they can get blood, and I wanted the bruise to go away first), and when I got there, they put the needle in, moved it around, moved it some more..........................
.................and nothing.

So they took it out and asked about taking it from my finger. and I was like..."like I do when I test my blood sugar?" and she said yes, just like that.

Well I was elated, I mean if they'd said that to begin with, I would have jumped up and down with joy because I'd much rather have done that than that finger stick, are you joking????

Sure enough, she puts this warming pad on my finger (I asked if I could take a bunch of those home to use in the winter, and got a wide grin...and a no) and shortly after, after a bunch of squeezing and a painless stick to my finger, they had a tube of blood. YAY!!!!

I wish they could do that everytime, I'd much prefer that to a stick in the arm, I HATE those.

Anyway, I hope everything goes well with you all and that you have an incredible day ahead, smile, help someone and just enjoy the day, it won't ever pass again! emoticon
