Feeling Good

It's amazing how much better my body is feeling. Just making small changes of adding fruits and veggies and lots of water have made me feel like a different person. I went through a day or so of my tummy not being very happy at first but as it's passing the first full week I have more energy and look forward to the flavors of my food. I am in love with baby spinach right now. On sandwiches, in salad, as a salad. I just really prefer the flavor and texture over regular lettuce. Fresh tomatoes and especially the fresh fruit. I had a nectarine as a snack before bed the other night and it was so sweet I felt like I was indulging. Yes, it's a little more expensive to eat healthy, but I have started taking lunch to work so the money I save eating out can go to the purchase of better food and's a great trade off.

I'm also back onto the Wii fit. I still say years ago it was the best $100 I ever spent on myself!! I love the Super Hoola Hoop and the Island Cycle and when I've had a rough day I love the boxing. On the weekends I tend to exercise in the mornings and weekdays in the evenings. I like breaking it up a bit and also have a walking partner to walk outdoors some too. What a difference in a week and I am really working to make this change a permanent one.
