friday--big job DONE.

Friday, June 06, 2014

hi everyone--well yesterday I spent the bulk of my day on one job--getting the baby chickens moved OUT OF THE HOUSE. we came up with a temporary way for them to share quarters with the older girls without anyone getting hurt so out they went. it was a big, nasty job and I am so glad to have my workroom cleaned up and free of dust. I am working on a big sign to hang on the little house right now--so I needed my workroom.
didn't have any customers here yesterday--until the daylilies begin to flower its always slow. but I do have one online inquiry through my website I need to get to work on. she wants descriptions of my late and very late introductions.
and I am GOING to sign up for our next 5K this morning. been trying to get at it for a couple days now. next thing on my agenda this morning. then its time to go run.
have a wonderful day!

That must be a relief. I got an additional 3 chicks when one of my hens turned broody. She gets to do all the work. It's her first time so it's been fun watching her learn how to be a momma. Luckily only one other hen to contend with.

You actually had the baby chooks IN YOUR HOUSE?? It must've driven the dogs bonkers! I can't imagine the mess they made in your workroom! I know you feel SO much better moving them out! My brother fabricated a small, round fence that he drags from place to place with his small tractor (think one step above a riding lawn mower :-) Maybe DH could make something similar for the chicks?

I hope you had a great run. I'm glad you found a way to get your workroom done. Might as well get the space now for all those orders that'll come your way.
