Period Probs

The worst part about trying to eat healthy is attempting to dull the cravings while still being healthy. I brought to work my normal lunch, a turkey sandwich, some celery and I even made a smoothie with chocolate whey powder (since I knew I always craved chocolate when I'm on my period).
Yet, here I am at work wanting to eat everything and anything that is under the sun. All I can think about is that tub of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream that is in my freezer at home. And that just makes me want to go buy chocolate chip cookie dough for me to warm up in the microwave and eat with a spoon. And I want to eat it by the spoonfuls. Not one serving. Not one cookie. All I want is to sit down with a fresh bag of oreos and an entire glass of milk and finish it all off.
Oh the joys of being a woman.

    You have to want this more. It's never going to get any easier, menopause and beyond, cravings are still there.

    From one woman to another - I feel your pain - go to Spark Recipes and see if there is an alternative that you can try. So far the chocolate fix desserts I have tried are awesome!! Hang in there emoticon !!!!
