hello everyone! I had my riding lesson today. my horse got spooked ( not his fault ) and I tried unsuccessfully to stay seated , but hit the ground. it was something I considered when I signed up and you know what ? it wasn't as bad as I thought, i'm sore, don't get me wrong, but not afraid. I got back on, finished my class and walked the 2.5 miles home' i'm sure I will feel it tomorrow but I still love riding.

I broke my shoulder and ribs coming off my horse when I was 45...that ground was the hardest ground I ever felt
Doing a good job of staying on at 58...knock on wood.
