Forgot to wear my SPAT this morning.

Tuesday, May 27, 2014

So I am on my walk when I notice I did not transfer my SPAT from my house shoes to my walking shoes. I was almost a mile from home and too far to go back. I was able to map my walk without any problems because I knew what time I left the house at. I walked 53 min. and 3.05 miles. No problem tracking that, but there use to be a way to add in steps b4 I got the SPAT. Does that option disappear when you get the tracker. Seems that option should still be available just incase one forgets to wear the SPAT. I know I can be a bit spacy at times, so does not surprise me that I forgot the transfer. I know you can guess-ur-steps by using the 2000 steps per mile rule to get the rough estimate. Anybody else ever have this problem??

Weather has warmed up again and it is in the upper 80's and most likely will hit 90 degrees today. Yesterday was about the same, so the AC has been on since yesterday morning. Jeff went back to work today, and will work 3 weeks straight. Poor baby. Look like summer is here and we never really had a winter this year. We did have two day with light sprinkles, but did little for our drought problems. They had some flooding out in the deserts, with lightening strikes but no fires to speak of.

Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday weekend! Oh Phred seems pretty much his old self.

Great time for the miles! I don't track steps so can't help you.. My GPS watch has been down four days now, sure do miss it. I have to wonder if they had to special order a replacement battery for it :(
We got to a high of 88 Sunday, then a heavy rain and hail storm came through and we cooled right down to the 60 's!
Glad to hear Phred is okay!

I will tell you what I do as my SPAT didn't work when water walking. Go to your fitness tracker and get to the walking fitness. Add the minutes to what ever speed you walk. Then I go to other goals and the SPAT steps are there. You can edit all those "write-ins". When you look at you SPAT tracker it will shoe the steps as manually entered minutes. I see today there is a new fitness format so I am hoping this hasn't changed.

We arrived home this afternoon and did drive through rain but it was dry when we backed up on the platform. Tired tonight and ready for a shower and bed!!
