I woke up this morning to a new lower number on the scale! I was so happy!! emoticon It got me thinking about my weight loss over this Spring challenge & the Winter challenge.

At the beginning of the year & the start of the Winter challenge, I was 124 pounds. That was a great number, and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to lose anymore. At 41, after having 6 pregnancies, I thought that was pretty good.

But the challenge “challenged” me to try a little harder. I remember being 135 & thinking I would be so happy to ever stay below 125. I didn’t make it to my 5% goal, but I got to 120 pounds. Again, a number I never thought I’d see again.

For the Spring challenge, my goal was to get to 115 pounds. Today, the number was LOWER than that! emoticon (I won’t count it as my official weigh in # yet though. I weigh every day & take the average number for my official number on Saturday). I still have 4 more weights to average for the Spring challenge! I’m not sure if I will make my goal. However, I will choose to focus on how far I’ve come & be appreciative of the losses I’ve seen!

I want to recognize 2 SP members who were brave enough to post pictures of their before & after. They really motivated me that I COULD reach these new goals: NANCYANNE55 & COURTNEYBIKINI. Nancy has had 4 pregnancies. Her “after” pics have made me really work my abs! Courtney is my height & weight & looks amazing! She was also a great encourager along the way. Many, many other SP members have motivated me. I am forever grateful for their sharing. I still haven’t gotten brave enough to post pics of myself. Maybe one day …
