Much cooler in the high 60's low 70's

Thursday, May 22, 2014

Weather has taken a turn for the better here. Will be nice for the holiday expecting low to mid 80's. Been walking twice everyday so hitting over 10,000 most days.

Took a walk over to Irene's house the other morning to see her and husband John who got out of the hospital after spending over a month. He is very skinny but seems so much better. He lost close to 40 pounds, which he didn't need to lose. Hope for a full recovery! emoticon

Phred is doing better and goes back to the vet on Sat. morning. I will walk him over and this will be his first walk since his injury. He is almost totally recovered. Medication has not slowed him down, although he does seem a bit more tired after I first give the pills to him. Right now I think his body has gotten use to meds and he is acting totally crazy again. Very glad for that. emoticon

So off for my shorter evening walk. You all have a great holiday, if I don't get back on site b/4 then. I expect to but one never knows. lol

Good /to hear the Phred is doing much better. It is so much more enjoyable to walk when the weather is cooler. We have /been having a short stretch of lovely weather here in the campground and I am enjoying an afternoon walk around the "block". It's half a mile around. /Can't do 10,000 steps but getting to my goal daily! You have a safe & fun holiday as well.
