Big Things On The Horizon

The last week has been full of stress. I didn't get to the gym nearly enough. My Dad was put in the hospital and it seems like it was one crisis after another here at home for me to take care of. We got it all done, Dad's home now. All is back to something resembling normal at least.
I released my second book yesterday. I have a public launch event happening on Friday. I'm a little nervous but, I'm also looking forward to it because it kicks off a book tour that will have me traveling for two weeks starting on the 31st. I'm already at work on the sequel to this book. I've also got another book that I'm going to be working on for a more private project.
Yes, some things in life are going along pretty awesomely. Others seem to be on a slow track. For example, when I get back from this trip, I have to start looking for something better in the job department. I need better pay, benefits, and a more consistent schedule. It isn't the work I'm doing. I just need more routine, more hours, and the ability to get myself into a healthier lifestyle. That means adequate sleep, better nutrition, time for the gym on a consistent basis, and time for me to get writing done and to be able to plan for things. Let's not even start on the ability to go to a doctor and get certain aspects worked out. Also the need to have a social life factors in there. So, changes have to be made.
I am so thankful for my family right now though. Every single one of them is super supportive of all that I am trying to accomplish. The friends that I do have are also really supportive and understanding. It really is like I've turned over a new leaf in life. I'm entertaining the idea of going back to school next year. I'm setting goals and I'm really excited about what the next year or so holds for me.
