I have been off line for the past couple of weeks due to computer trouble. I had a blue screen and my daughter tried to fix it but it wasn't fixable. I got estimates to get it fixed and it was almost as much as a new computer. I went ahead and bought a gently used for a good price. The one that crashed was at least eight years old anyway.

I'd like to say thank you for all the spark goodies and sweet and encouraging comments on my page while I was away. I normally like to respond to each one individually but for times sake I'm just doing this generic one. I read them all and really do appreciate being missed, being thought of and all the sentiments.

I'm doing well. Still no soda, it's been almost two months and I don't miss it. I've been reading a book that was out in the 80's called The Weigh Down Diet. It's written by a Christian lady and she has many bible verses and teaches that you can eat anything as long as you're hungry when you eat and stop when you're full. I can't really eat anything but she does make some good points. I'm learning to pray before I put anything in my mouth. I'm learning to put God before my food. Sad to say but it's the truth. I feel good about it. I don't do good with cold turkey or change over night. I need time for change no matter what it is but I can see progress and that's encouraging. I'm also learning to know when I'm actually hungry and comfortably satisfied. It's comforting to know I have that control.
