What Exactly is an Exercise "Snack"?!

Saturday, May 17, 2014

I just read an article with the words "exercise snacks" in the title.

No, it's not a food (which was my initial thought).

It's a few minutes of exercise BEFORE a meal.

For what purpose?

The article states that "Short bursts of intense exercise before meals may help control blood sugar spikes better than one longer, less intense session."

And as we know, it's constantly elevated blood sugar that tells our body to store body fat.

Read the article and see what you think! Perhaps you can start exercise snacking! I'm sure going to try!

. . . s u s y . . .

Any comments after you read the article? Feel free to share!
