When Does A Goal Become A Habit

I wonder what everyone's experience on this is? When do you consider a goal and habit and change it to something new.
For example, one of my goals was to drink 8+ glasses of water a day. I've been drinking 10+ for over 21 days.
Do you now consider that a habit and change your goal? Thoughts?

    I think most new things don't truly become a habit until 30+ days... At least for me. I'd keep it on the goal list and add more challenging goals to it as well.

    I'd say change your goal and see if you still continue with the habit and take it from there. Great job on consuming all that water!
