The road to simple abundance
Sunday, May 11, 2014
I have been working on my way to a better me. The realization from my last blog and left my mind and I have begun to stop tracking as well as usual. This time however, may be a bit better as my friend gave me a book yesterday called Simple Abundance. I didn't know anything about it and said sure. Tonight as I went to take a bath I remembered it was still in the car and I grabbed it to read over while I soaked. It is a day as you go book that inspires thought. It is all about becoming a better you. Part of what I love is how religionless yet all encompassing it is. She does talk about spiritual aspects, but pulls from everywhere. It doesn't ostracize me like some things do.
I believe it will also inspire me to write more, possibly even every day as I record my thoughts. This may sometimes be on here and sometimes in a book. Its all about getting it down, not about where. I plan on continuing to read it when I get a chance straight through, but also working one to three sections a day. One or two will begin from January 1 since this is a dated one a day book and one will be from the present day at hand, thus today is May 11. I look forward to meditating on its teachings each day as I do my daily tasks and life caring. I do realize often with a one a day it doesn't have to be date based, but simply finding the passage that speaks to you that day. I will continue to try and read a few passages a day just for that reason.
May 11th - renaming the aspects in my life more positively. Its house caring not work and self caring not getting ready.
Jan 1st - none of the above is a resolution, but more of a aspiration. With a dream you don't really fail. With a resolution there is less room for non-perfection. I want room for change. I dream of a simple abundance life.
