Dreaded Dr.'s Office Scale...Whew!
Thursday, May 08, 2014
So, I have lost 30 of 95 pounds that I plan to shed. I was heading to the urgent care this morning to make sure my pain under my ribs and under my shoulder blade on the left side was not a heart attack. I decided it was from the exercising, but I wanted to have that confirmed. I normally refuse the weigh-in at the Dr.'s office, but I couldn't play that game today. Imagine the dread of facing that Dr.'s office scale. I have a digital one at home that I bought at Costco, which I feared was making me weigh less than the Dr.'s office scale might read. I selected my clothes carefully, so that they would not add too much weight. I wore bootie-socks with slip on sandals in order to stand on the scale shoe-less. The moment of truth...Yippee! The scales are reading the same! I really lost 30 of 95 pounds! Oh, and I did not have a heart attack. It was all good to go on exercising after the exam and the EKG.
