I'm back:) 13 weeks

I have not been on for a long time. Long enough that I don't even think I posted April goals. I moved the first weekend in April, had my last day at my employer of eight years on April 11th and started a new position at a new place on April 14th. While I have internet at home I can't get my boyfriend to figure out what is wrong with the phone line so it doesn't work. I love paying for stuff that I can't use...

Exercise has been pretty nonexistent. You could saying moving and cleaning counts but only so much. And sadly my awesome eating habits that had made maintenance so manageable has fallen to the wayside as well. With my daughter I had horrible morning sickness from week 6 to 14 and occasionally all the way up through 16. When I say horrible I mean I threw up at minimum twice a day once hitting as high as five and I actually lost 12 pounds in my first trimester instead of gaining the desired amount of 1-2 pounds. Miserable time. This time is different, I have only actually gotten sick sick three times total including the time that alerted me I was pregnant in the first place in week 5. But I do get very nauseous at times and unfortunately water and healthy foods especially veggies make it worse. Carbs, sadly have been my closest thing to a best friend as far as being able to get through my day not feeling ill. So in the past eight weeks I've been tired, super crazy busy and overloaded, not eating anywhere near my normal diet and not exercising. I have gained 8 pounds in these past 8 weeks as well. Not cool:(

BUT as I am about to enter my second trimester I am in the hopes that I will stop feeling like poo when I am in reach of my dearly loved veggies. I have my "station" now set up in the kitchen ready for smoothie production when this day comes back to me. The weather is getting nicer and the house is coming along better in organization so my fingers are crossed that my workout routine can start back up this week. Speaking of working out my new employer will PAY for my gym membership as long as I attend 90 times throughout the month..can we say incentive? And the amount they will cover is higher than what my current membership is so today after work I get to check out the classes and add that extra cost to my account which would be covered. Yoga here I come!

My money has begun to come together better, less bills and higher pay. I never thought the day would come or at least was starting to feel that way. Also this new job is less stressful and has a much better maternity leave in place and better coverage on insurance. win-win-win.

So here soon I will roll out a new monthly goal blog and get things back to where they should be:) I've missed SparkPeople and my SparkFriends!

    So happy to hear the pregnancy is going well! My wife had the worst morning sickness for both babes, and the nausea crippled her. My heart goes out all the pregnant ladies 100%. Nice to hear you've had less of that though this time around, and super nice to see by your statuses that your hiking and hoping to run some!! :D You'll keep that weight in check for sure! Also, high fives to what sound like the perfect job situation! :D Less stress equals happier mama! :)

    wb and congrats on your pregnancy. It's great to read that the morning sickness this time around is more managable and that you're winning in so many ways with all these changes! I hope that is 9 times and not 90 as AMBERLICIOUS88 states above! It would be hard to attend 90 times in a month. You sound so positive and happy so keep pushing and enjoy life!

I never thought the day would come or at least was starting to feel that way ..... isn't that such an awesome feeling?! my hubby and i are at that place ourselves. we started following some guidelines from dave ramsey and managed to get rid of all our credit card debt. so alls we have is our house, our cars, and maintenance stuff that goes with all that and student loans (which is our next tackle!) such a stress relief!

    hope you start to feel better soon! you'll tackle your nutrition when you're feeling better =)
