This has been a stressful year so far and I need to find ways to decrease my stress and to make sure I don’t take it out on my family. The primary way I will do this through exercise and nutrition. I’m also going to pull Listen so your kids will talk and Talk so your kids will listen off my shelf and actually read it. I have had it forever. I started to read it once. Now I need to read it and do the work it recommends.
Here is my nutrition (dinner because breakfast/lunch tend to be the same thing every day) and exercise plan for the week.
Wed – Taco salad
Thurs – Defrost the baked ziti
Fri – Breakfast for dinner – whole wheat Belgium waffles are already in the freezer
Saturday - Roasted chicken with kale salad
Sunday – I’m going to ask DH to make one of his specialties or BBQ something
Monday – Pork roast
Tuesday – Roasted pork BBQ sandwiches
Wed – Wog
Thur – TT with step ups for cardio and a walk
Fri – 5k walk with friend and then a run on treadmill
Sat – Walk and ST
Sun – Walk and ST
Mon – Step ups and walk
Tues – walk and a run, light ST (probably core)
This is my word for the year. I am incorporating it into all of my goals.
Exercise – I will achieve a regular ST program again by either using S90 videos or on my own.
Nutrition – I will achieve balanced nutrition my not caving into cravings. I will be allowed something sweet if it is not eaten out of a craving or emotional eating.
Sleep – I will make sure I get a minimum six hours of sleep, preferably seven or eight.
Financial – I will continue to develop my company. I will contact the people who have indicated an interest. I will create business accounts for FB, twitter and linked in.
Personal – I will start my piano practice again because it brings me pleasure and helps me stay centered. Hopefully my lessons can resume when my business picks up.
Family – I will read the book mentioned above. My family will achieve a higher amount of fitness minutes since they will not be doing camps but will be home with me.
Spiritual – I will continue reading daily reflections and add in scripture reflections and meditation to help me ACHIEVE all things listed above.
