Hormones take over

Saturday, April 26, 2014

Last night before bed I was dumb and poured broth on the ground in the dogs yard. Which led to Ralph wanting to lick the grass and me stepping on a rock to get him inside. Well actually no, Scott yelled once after I stepped on the rock and he came. 12:50 am he had to go to the bathroom so he led Scott out and yet again licked grass and didn't pee. 1:10 pm he got me outside with him and I made him pee. Well I was standing on my deck in the dark so that I didn't wake up too much and I was looking out at my car and noticed a guy was sitting in it looking thru my stuff. I yelled at him "What are you doing in my car??" he looked at me and froze. Then I started screaming "WTF ARE YOU DOING????" My yelling got him to take off running as fast as he could toward the park. Needless to say we didn't go back to bed for awhile. I looked in my car to make sure everything was ok. Had someone detach my stereo and leave it hanging at a previous house we lived. I guess they freaked out and took off. This guy was looking for any money, who knows. He didn't look like he had anything when he took off running. We have motion lights and he didn't set them off walking all the way up our drive. Ralph didn't notice him either lol And my car was parked as close to our house as possible.

My other hormone usage was last week. I was walking the dogs with Scott and these little boys (6 or 7) had a minpin on a leash and they were pulling him around. I was watching and then one got on the ground and started hitting the poor little dog. I could hear them hitting the dog from across the street. I screamed at them "what are you doing???" they looked at me freaked. I screamed "You do not hit animals!!" their parents were behind them on the porch... Scott was mad at me for yelling at someone elses children. But you know what, that dog was born a good animal. Kids teasing him will make him a fear biter. Then someone will be like "mean dog needs to be destroyed". I wonder who I will be yelling at next.

Yesterday was nice, finally a day off with no husband home to get a ton done. I made bread, edited wedding pictures, did laundry, grocery shopped, walked dogs and 90 min afterWERQ happened. It was a good day.

You are doing more pg than I'm doing not pg! Sounds like an exhausting weekend! I'm proud of you for everyone you screamed at, actually. Even the kids, and besides, it takes a village and you will come to know that someday. If your child ever steps out of line when you're not around, you would want someone to intervene.

Omg you are brave! I would have ran and got Jeff. Impressive girl!! I think I would have yelled at the kids though! Little brats! And that their parents were right there, not stopping it... Wow. People make me sick!

You were right to yell at those kids, I think so at least.

That is so scary about the thief!! Hopefully he won't be back. Did you call the police as they probably would want to know? There may be other people in the area who have been hit.

Illinois has new laws regarding animal abuse and these kids could be in big trouble for this kind of behavior. We all need to be stopping people like this.

Love the pictures! You look great!

I wouldn't call them hormone moments. Both the kids and that tool deserved to be yelled at. So dumb. I'm glad nothing was stolen and everything is okay. You look great, by the way! :)

Sounds like a couple of crazy situations!!!!! And I hope you lock your car all the time, whether you are in it or not!

I'd probably yell at some kids for hitting a dog - I've yelled at kids who were hitting each other!
