The MONKOKEHAMPTON MARCH

This piece is written about a little village in North Devon just north of the town of Okehampton on the banks of the Oke river.

In response to somebody who commented on my Copplestone cha cha as being a little Bernstein-esque and hence a little American in style I have here a piece that is quintessentially English.

The village of Monkokehampton lies three miles (8km) away from Jacobstowe in the opposite direction to the pub so no drunks here, just our quirkiness and our perculiarities that make us British just about what we are.
