**~Joined a Challenge, Joined a Gym~**

So awesomeness! This is my first ever Sparkpeople blog and I'm really excited!!!
Ok so for the first part "Joined a Challenge" - On one of my teams 300 lbs + their hosting a Spring Biggest Loser Challenge. We all were given teams and I'm on Team ~*Puddle Stompers*~ Yay Me!
The team really does ROCK too! I spent the better half of an hour working on friending my 19 team mates last night and it was worth it :D Getting to know everyone a little better will help when it comes to giving motivation and staying connected and such :) This challenge is going to do wonders for motivation and has inspired me to go further with my weight loss endeavor which brings me to my second part...
Onward to "Joined a Gym". So here's the thing I have been majorly slacking on exercise lately it's just a sad fact. When I first started my adventure on losing weight I was in high gear ready to take on activity at any level just to get some time in but then I started easing off and once I started doing that it was a slippery slope indeed. Not to mention I live in a apartment on the third floor so it's difficult to jump around like I wish, especially to get full impact throughout the workout.
However I totally own up to not exercising and am not making an excuse as to why I haven't because of my apartment level. It's more so to explain why moving towards joining a gym was a good decision for me. I joined a gym that is 24/7 which RULES all because my hours can be strange and if that's not awesome enough, I have two family members (my mother and sister) that are going to join me!!!! WHAT!! Talk about AWESOME! Neither have nearly as much weight to loss as me but that's not really the point, I'm just glad to have the company.
I can't tell you how excited I am to kick my butt into shape at the gym and get to know my teammates better throughout the challenge. Here's to everyone out there making a choice to make a difference in their lives so they can live life the way they wish to! Stay strong, push on and be POSITIVE!!! You can so DO this :)
We all had to weigh in for the challenge and I decided that I would snap pictures of my progress weekly and post them with my blogs...talk about accountability :p Gain or loss I'll post. I used a random Mii character and named it SpringBLC :p
