On Tuesday, I had my eyes dilated. For those of you who have never had this done,
1. It doesn't hurt!
2. It opens your pupils and lets in LOTS of light.
3. It makes things a little blurry.
4. On me, it lasts for 5-6 hours!!!!!
I wanted to walk that day, but couldn't figure out how to do it with my eyes closed.
Sooooo, to make a long story short, I didn't get in my exercise on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, I had a Dr. appt., and did a few things around the house, but only got in a couple of short 16 minute walks.
Today! Those past two days of not meeting my goals could have tanked my mindset, but nope, I'm up, got my swim stuff in the car, and am ready to hit the pool this morning. Going to eat a healthy breakfast first, and then I'm off.
I have made so much progress in my fitness. For months I rarely got in more than 2000 steps a day, but since mid March, I've been consciously moving at least 6-10000+ steps per day. Days that I don't make my daily goals don't make me feel like I failed, they just tell me I needed a little rest and it's time to get back to work!
I'm sleeping well most of the time, I'm eating healthy foods (most of the time), and I'm exercising (most of the time), so what's not to feel good about!
I do believe I've got a healthy mindset!!!! Cheers to all the positive Sparkers out there who keep on pushing and working on living the healthy lifestyle!
