For anyone who has ever felt shame about their size...

I haven't blogged in nearly two months. I got a little burned with a blog I wrote about the fundraising campaign my daughter launched to fund my future gastric sleeve surgery. Someone felt it was inappropriate for me to post about it and reported me to the authorities. I think I am over it, now. I will post a new update on things in my life later on, I promise (lots has happened!).
For now, I wanted to share this little cartoon that really hit a cord in me. I've always said NO ONE should feel shame out in public when they are exercising. Trust me on this; most folks will be mentally applauding you for your effort, if not outright giving you a high five. The first step out in public is the hardest for most unless you are like me, born without a shy bone in my body. Take a deep breath, smile, hold your head high and love yourself for doing what you need to do to take care of your body. No one cares what wiggles, jiggles, or flops up and down and side to side. Trust me, you are the one who will notice it the most. Get on out there. See and be seen. Every success story on here comes from a once heavy person stepping out of their comfort zone and just going for it. Don't be afraid to go out on a limb, folks. It's where the best fruit is!
**EDIT** Just after posting this, someone put this one on facebook. I've seen this look and had this look on my face before!
