So we're pretty much all packed and ready for Chico. I just need to make up a bag for my scale, mrs dash seasoning, and my healthy snacks. I was going to bring a couple apples, bananas, oranges, and 100 calorie granola bars. If we make it to the store today I'll pick up another bag of pistachios and almonds and pack some to take with us to Chico. I'm also going to pack a few of my green tea bags. I'm trying to hard to stay on track because when we do go out of town I'm so tempted to eat poorly because I really want the foods everyone else is having. I will allow myself a sweet treat while we're there, maybe a small piece of cake or frozen yogurt since Chico has a ton of yogurt shops :)
Last night's dinner was amazing and the smells oh my the smells throughout the house was simply divine! My boyfriend walked in from work and said it smelled awesome and he had seconds of the meat that I made. Everything was perfect and seasoned just right that he didn't have to add anything to it. A good crock pot dinner is so easy and so yummy for little bit of work.
Tonight the boyfriend has requested I make a meatloaf for dinner with half turkey and half ground beef :) I'm going to add sautéed diced yellow onions, green bell pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, italian seasonings, milk, egg, bread crumbs, bbq sauce in the mix, and ketchup on top. Since the turkey package is 1.25 pounds I'm going to take the 1/4 pound and make myself a mini meatloaf to help cut down on the calorie and fat intake. I'll do egg whites, a splash of 2% milk, onions, bell peppers, salt, pepper, italian seasoning, a small amount of bbq sauce, and a little bit of ketchup on top. We'll be having canned corn and Rice a Roni herb and butter rice with a can of reduced sodium red kidney beans mixed in as the side dishes. I was going to do mashed potatoes but I ran out of potatoes and don't have any instant on hand so making due with the ingredients I do have. I love meatloaf so this should be really yummy! :)
Today's workout is going to be 15 min arc trainer, 15 min treadmill, 1 hour walk, 200 crunches, 1 minute plank, 100 squats, weights, and a 30 minute workout in my room. I'm feeling the crunches and squats from yesterday lol. On my walk on Sunday I found a yoga mat someone had put out for free so I took it home with me and it works great for doing my crunches on the hardwood floor.
