slooooooooow progress

Sunday, April 13, 2014

Okay. I'm back to 166 lbs. Progress is so sloooooow... but once again I'm finding that my body continues to change more than the scale shows.
I bought MEDIUM men's shorts for running. I generally avoid women's technical clothing because they're styled way too sexy-like for my tastes. If I'm running, I need clothing that does the job of moving sweat away from my body, covers the naughty bits, stays in place, and that can be removed without dislocating joints. I'm too busty and hippy for most womens' technical clothing, and I just feel more comfortable in mens' clothing.
But dude! Size MEDIUM. I've never fit into a size medium mens' short before. NEVER.
And here's something else. I have been ordering outfits from Fabletics, and except for the fact that the tops are too flimsy to offer any modesty coverage, I actually fit into the xl size bottoms, be they shorts or tights, and even the bra tops fit. How about that.
And ... I have this tee shirt that I bought from the Northstar ski resort fire station in 2005 when I worked in Truckee. I wanted grey not navy blue but all they had in grey was a medium. It never fit so I just used it as a pajama top in summertime and made sure I never went outside without a sweater or some other coverage. Well, now it fits just fine. I can take it out of the pajama drawer and put into the running drawer.
Take that, unmoving scale!

That is so good!!! Even when the scale doesn't move. It is nice to see the clothes getting too big, having to go to a smaller size. You are doing great!!! Keep up the good work! emoticon
