The Copplestone Cha Cha

This is a little Cha Cha I wrote for orchestra about half a dozen years ago. Copplestone is a thriving little village about 5 miles (8km) away from us and gives the impression that it is bigger than it actually is - I hope you enjoy this little orchestral miniature.

I like the way you make songs for towns. I wish you could make some for my area of Iowa! Lots of small towns with character. Well except Williamson which is low lying, fills with water when it rains and has a lot of junk laying in the yards. One of the saddest towns but has a ratty tavern that sells huge hamburgers at a good price so the one redeeming thing besides the people.

Your music is so uplifting and joyful - and even though it is instrumental and therefore without lyrics, it SPEAKS to all of us and we so much enjoy the messages.
