Years ago, I made a critical mistake. I learned and believed that you cannot target muscle groups for weight loss. It's true, sort of. What that lead me to believe, though, is that there was no point in working out at all. "If only I knew then what I know now".
It is true that you, for example, cannot lose ab fat by working your abs. You CAN, however, strengthen and tone your abs by working out and the stronger muscles will help burn overall body fat. Where was that lesson when I needed it??? It's here, now! :)
So, living with regret is a waste of time. I've learned the whole truth on this matter and I'm not only moving ahead and making progress but I also have my son doing some strength training, too!
