Back in the saddle

I had a few crappy days, and they were starting to worry me. BUT, I have prevailed. Even started out a little rough. It was my second day of water aerobics, and I was actually excited. When I woke up this morning, my stomach had other plans. Thank you Taco Bell! I thought I could push through it, but about 15 minutes into my one hour session I had to leave before I embarrassed myself completely. So I took a shower at the pool, got ready for work, and clocked in an hour early. As the day went on my stomach calmed down, but I was totally bummed that I didn't get to do more aerobics. As I was stewing on it, I was reminded of a comment that someone made on my blog. She said that we all have bad days and that we just have to dust ourselves off and get back in the saddle! So, I did. I decided to stop dwelling on all the things that were going wrong and starting thinking about things that were good/going right. One positive thing that stood out was the fact that since I clocked in early, I was able to get off early. That felt pretty good! Even though it was unplanned I decided to go on a 30 minute walk when I was done. The weather was perfect and I felt like I actually accomplished something! It gave me the motivation that I needed to keep pushing through. Here's to a small victory and many more to come!
