The transitions

Wednesday, April 09, 2014

Change can be good or bad. It is inevitable. The only thing that stays the same is change? Might be misquoting that.

My husband is at the hospital with his dad. Not sure what the issue is exactly, but my husband, who is not prone to being overly dramatic, says he isn't good. My husband is in his late 50's so his parents aren't exactly young.

I'm not even sure what it is I'm saying really other than our family being in the midsts of transitions. Kids becoming adults, kid getting ready to start his "new" school in the fall, parents needing more care.

You are right about change. Sometimes it is good and sometimes bad, but no matter what happens it will come. The one thing that I know about change is that it tends to make a person stronger once the storm has passed.

I know it is hard and stressful during these times for you. I pray that the Lord will give you inner peace during this time. Sometimes being strong for the family only postpones our dealing with change. I pray that the Lord will give you some time to yourself so that you can deal with your own feelings and also to spend time with him for he can strengthen you. I also pray for the Lord to give you strength during this time.

    May God Bless You
