yesterday my car was hit by another car; today my car was declared a complete loss. Blessings in that no one was hurt and it was not my fault.

i just got an email from a good friend saying that her husband (whom she was about to divorce) has cancer and is not expected to live.

God's grace still abounds; still shines brighter than all the clouds, you just have to look harder to see it sometimes.

    Sorry about your car... I had a car declared totaled by the insurance company, I took their check and had the car repaired... it gave me several more years of very dependable service.
    The mention of your friend and the cancer diagnosis... reminds me of a chapter in my life. I had filed for divorce, he claimed he had cancer and only 6-mo to live and wanted me to withdraw the suit for divorce.. I didn't and he lived another 20-something years.
