The Fallout from Dayton

Tuesday, April 08, 2014

So I didn't eat so well in Dayton.

Not proud of myself for that.

Had no time to work out.

I'm sincerely hoping that the Orlando trip goes better AND I don't come back feeling like death like I did from Dayton.

Don't get me wrong, I LOOOOVE Dayton and I LOOOOVE my time there, but I don't feel as good as I did coming back from it the way I did last year.

I'll just have to find time to work out this go-round in Florida, even if it means I'm taking laps in a pool or running two miles (which is now nothing for me). Whatever. I need to take care of myself and get myself in shape before that half marathon. The more I think about it, the more it concerns me. :/ Get it impulse registration! Thank goodness I'm not doing it alone. That would be awful, hahaha.

I'm just so excited though - I cannot wait to be where I want to be physically.

I just need to start strength training regularly again because I can see it in my muscles that they're not as taught or as strong as they were before. I need to get on that, hahah. :/

Know how you feel. I've been to Dayton 3 times since 2002. I have a brother who lives in Bellbrook and was in Fairborn. Hate working out while on vacation. The only time I do any exercise is when we go to the Air Force museum or if we go to Minnesota to walk around the county fair. But a real workout on a trip is hard.
